Climb Every Cushion

I decided to try out one of the activities, which I shared in a recent issue of ZimbabaNEWS, with my little girl this afternoon, and what fun we had! I began by scouring the house for anything remotely ‘cushion-shaped’ and then piled them all up in a stack for a safe, fun climbing activity. Needless to say, I used the biggest, most stable ones

Fun but Healthy Snacks for Toddlers!

I don’t know about you, but I struggle to think of easy but healthy snacks for my toddler.  Having received a gift voucher for Caboodle/Snugglebugz, I decided to have a quick browse this morning, and I was delighted to discover their range of Annabel Karmel snacks from the UK, which they have recently introduced to their flagship store in Borrowdale Village.  Particularly good value

Child-Friendly Coffee Shop

I don’t know about you, but I’d much prefer to frequent a coffee shop which welcomes children.  I visited Bottom Drawer this afternoon, and I was able to relax and enjoy my cappucino, whilst my daughter happily amused herself, playing with duplo lego in the wendy house for a whole 20 minutes or so!  There is also a small playground with a trampoline for

Mum ‘n’ Me Baby Gym

I decided to trial Mum ‘n’ Me Baby Gym yesterday afternoon.  My little girl of 14 months was instantly captivated by the sheer number and range of balls and other toys to play with.  She thoroughly enjoyed exploring the various activities, alongside quite a few other small children, between the ages of 1 and 4 years old.  The hour seemed to fly by, finishing
